A Language of Marks
August 5 - 27, 2022
Li-Leger is an avid maker of artist books. One could say that her books lie somewhere between the making of zines and the crafting of handmade books. Her book practice stems from her love of drawing, and while she does enjoy and carefully attends to the craft of book-making, her books highlight the art contained within.
Li-Leger’s drawings are often iterative in nature, and reflect her desire for quietude and a meditative engagement with the world around her. Often, nature is her inspiration.
